I recall a magenta hatchback with walky rims in a magazine about ten years ago. It didn't look terrible but it's not a look that I would encourage.

I love the Walky wheels, with the right paint combo I think they would suit a Retro style Torry! No picky's sorry!

I thought Commode and HQ stud pattern were the same, just the offset was different??? Not 100% sure though

The stud pattern is slightly different. about 1-2mm. Enough to wreck your studs though, and not recommended to use commodore rims on HQ stubs or vice versa.

HQ - 4.75" or 120.65mm
C/dore - 120mm

0.65mm sounds pretty close to me (0.325mm on radius), I'm sure BMW PCD is further out than that and there's plenty of Commonwhores getting around with those rims on.
I don't own a Commode (anymore) though so I can't say definately.
Sorry if I've offended anyone with my slang.

BMW and commy run the same stud pattern.

Running commy wheels on chev/HQ stud pattern is asking for trouble.
You have been warned.
