Well,

I only really got pics of my rig... I Only took a couple of photos as well!

Hopefully some others took lots of happy snaps!! I know kev has some video... I wonder if he can work it out this year....

I ran a P.B of 14.49 @ 94.22 mph... There is probably a tiny bit left in it, but i don't think she'll get a 13.99 unless i do something else to the beast...

With about an hour to go, I ripped a big skid and blew a Hoseclamp that spat coolant all over the track... Easy fix, but i decided to park it anyway...

I had a blast today!! Here are the pics!

Well you guys all got home a lot quicker than us (four hours with a stop for tea).

I haven't got a lot of pics as Tori & Graham seemed to have it covered - I'll post Graham's when he emails them to me, probably later in the week & I'll check out Tori's when she finishes school tomorrow - I think she has just about every run Kev and Matt did, not sure what else LOL

We learnt today that an XU1 cam, doesn't necessarly improve the quater mile speed of a 186; that I really need a new radiator & fuel pump :<_<: that removing the stromberg & putttin a holley on just causes fuel leaks (& only 75% throttle when the cable's for a six & u need the lenght of one from an eight0 & that it sucks more and more than I can't race my own car :furious:

Here's a few.

What a great day!! Heaps of fun and cant wait until the next one!
My best was 15.11 at 96mph not bad for triple 150's strombergs i think, and she still had a little more in her.
Had about 15 runs and the car didnt miss a beat.

Thanks to the guys who organised this event. :spoton:

Mark, You had to be doing the best skids though! Do you have a line-locker or something? I loved how you just sat doing a standstill until the official wave you on and told you to stop! LOL

Out of Interest, what was everyone's best times for the day?

Mark thats an awesome mph from the time.... Thats what I did in my weber beast first run until I dialed in more traction. It must be making some HP on those little 150s.

Along with the times and mph can you guys tell us your 60ft and 1/8 times as well as it tells a bit of the type of run you had too.

hehe thanks Matt and Graham
Just running a celica 5 speed. I think the offical was becoming frustrated with me in the end but i really needed to warm those tyres up otherwise i would brake traction on the launch which is my biggest problem.
I have a set of triple 1 3/4 su's sitting in the garage, just need to re-kit them......

Nice pics. Any videos???

LC-069, with a 96mph pass you should be doing low 14's/high 13's. Great effort though with only CD150 carbs. :spoton:

Uncle Chop Chop?

We saw that coming in and thought, does mum know he has it out.
Then we saw a belt drive hair drier hanging out the left side of the bonnet.
Totally stock looking, but looks can be deceiving.
