Gday Les,
How about the firewall grommet that the engine bay
harness & the windscreen washer pump hoses pass thru.
Only been able to find 1 good 2nd hand one & there pretty
fragile these days.
I'll get a pic up tomorrow morning for you.

Hi Les,
Theres actually 2 separate grommets, it was a bit late when I posted, & I
hadnt looked at them for a while.
Heres pics of the Washer Hoses grommet & the Engine Bay Harness grommet.
I"ve got a washer hose 1 that I could send for a sample as the lip that fits the
firewall is split but the center is all there. The 1 on car I'll keep as the center is
buggered but the outside is OK & will stop my hoses chaffing.
Cant send a sample of the Harness grommet as only have the 1 on my harness
thats still resonable. Maybe someone else has a spare they could provide??
Let me know if you need the diameter of the firewall hole measured.

I may be able to help there, when I removed my loom a few weeks ago the old grommet split but I don't think I chucked it out and it might be still floating around in the shed. Will try to have a look this weekend if I have time (it doesn't matter that it's broken does it so long as it's in one piece so you can get measurements etc)??

Samples can be sent to Les McVeigh C/o RSP P.O. Box 10 Somerton Vic 3062 and would be replaced with a new one when they are made. It usually takes about 6 months to make a grommet
Will that be all we need to make for the LC LJ, LH LX are next

Thanks Jono , OtG they should be ok in an envelope maybe a piece of cardboard each side. I do not think the heater grommet is the same as the choke but if needed we will make it.

I found 1 of those padded Postpaks so I might as well use
it.
I'll get some pics of the Heater Box Cable grommet up this arvo
as I only just found it. Sorry cant send it to you as with the
plastic ends on the cable would probly bugger it trying to get it
off.

The sample of the Washer Hose's Grommet is on the way,
posted this afternoon.
Just in case its needed, the firewall hole for this grommet
measures 26.8mm.

I have found the wiring loom grommet in my shed, will mail it today or tomorrow.
It's split and perished but it's still in one piece - hope it's still useful to you.

Do you mean the squarish rubber boots on the handbrake cables under the car?
If so, yes. My diff is out of the car at the moment with the cables and boots hanging off it already. I can soon send you one or both! I won't need them until the car is ready to be reassembled but that's most likely still quite a few months away.
Edit - just reread the the thread - not sure if these are the ones lcgtrrob is talking about. Suspect he's thinking of something different, the ones I'm thinking of are quite large.

there is 2 rubber boots for the handbrake...they are not the same as each other..

Rightio... in that case, I think we are talking about the same thing then.
Mine are just sitting in the shed still hanging off the cables, don't think they're damaged so should be good to use as a template. Will have a look at it over the next few days.
