I feel your pain mate... I was buying bits and pieces here and there for the Torana, but now i'm trying to save as hard as i can to get a house. Its the time to get into the market. With that weilder however at least you have the tools to do what you need to. Look forward to see it on the road again sometime.

been a long time since up date got some new toys for xmas including telescopic gauges verniers piston ring compressor and bought myself a stanley lifter remover is a real good bit of gear will put some pics up
welded up the hole in the previous pic and por 15 it nearly welded the floor pan in just need some more argon ran out with 3 inches left to weld starting on pulling the plenum out to stop the floor from rusting out again and i got some goodies hiding to make it go a bit harder cant wait to get it back out hopefully i will be done by drag day got a fair bit of motivation from boxingday at heathcote saw some torries run some good times the halls matt black 4door ran a 9.45 against a certain crappy red vl and saw mish run down the strip a couple of times he ran low 11s every time i saw but there was a fair headwind so no doubt he can go faster just makes me wanna get back into it and more often than just drag days
any ways heres some progress pics

Good to see you're still working on it mate. That rust in the plenum is interesting... haven't seen it in that exact spot before. Is the lower section rusted out?

Get stuck into it anyway. Worst comes to worst make it a track car and benefit from what you learn working on it!
