also got 2 holden 6 cams for blue motor ones a 242a wade and a 613 crow cam

the wade cam looks alot bigger than the crow
lift on wade
Ex .284
In .281
lift on crow
Valve Lift
0.443
0.443
are they measure in metric and imperial cant figure out why the wade is so much bigger than the crow when it looks like on paper should be other way round

Its not standard by any means, it could well be a copy of a crane 268 duration cam which is much like the comp grind (seeing as the same company ground them all CWC owned by crane) 204 duration at 50thou will be pretty much what it is and depending on what muppet ground it, and what lobe centre its on it may have from .024" @TDC to .037" @ TDC

Your Crow comes up as this in their catalogue-

part#35613
valve timing- IN- 16/58 EX- 65/19
Duration - IN- 254 EX- 264
Valve Lift- IN- .382" EX- .408"

Hydrualic cam, High Torque, fuel efficient cam with smooth idle,
excellent for towing.

Just happened to have the print out handy as was checking mine,
a 626 solid.

Cheers Jono

First is cam lift and second is valve lift, e.g. at 1.5 rocker ratio the Wade would have 0.426" valve lift. Still smaller

I know this is an old thread but I thought someone on here may have an older Crow Cam catalogue to help me.
So I purchased a 355 Holden partially completed off a guy who ran out of money but lost the cam spec sheet. I can’t seem to find any info on the net either so here I am.
It’s a Crow hydraulic roller with the numbers 36525 engraved on the end as well as Crow Cams. Underneath the engraved number I can see what appears to be the number 2248 stamped.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Ken.  Have you tried emailing/calling Crow Cams direct?  They may have old catalogues. Cheers Ron

Hi :)
I bought an LC GTR with a hot 202 stroked to 206
It fairly high performance 298hp at the rear wheels and 230 ft lbs of torque on the dyno
I was Just wondering if anyone can help me ID the cam in it?
When I had the sump off I could see EP35 cast into the side of the shaft between the lobes. That’s all I’ve been about to see at this point
I’ve looked through all the main online catalogs and nothing has come up, if anyone has any information that would be great
Thanks

I'm wondering if the EP might be a reference to Sig Erson cams? If it is an Erson cam the part number will be stamped on the rear end of the shaft.

Hi Ken, I have a 2013 Crow catalogue. No mention of any numbers like those. Maybe it was a custom grind?

Camtech Holden EFI headed roller cam part numbers all start with CT2248 so is there any chance it is Camtech, not Crow? In the end you may have to measure the cam to work out what it is.

Cheers, Steve.

EP35 won't get you any answers. I have a cam in the shed that has EP35 cast in it. I pulled it out of a stock 179. You will need to pull it out to I.D. it.
Its a turbo is it for that kind of HP?
