In my SS when it had a 308 and auto in it, a ET of 14.657 this was with a ignition problem not letting the engine rev any higher than 4700 rpm.
But the fastest I have been was 11.425 in a SS/AA 308 + N2O powered Gemini that my mate raced for a while and I had drive of it at a test and tune day.
The junker 308 in it was out of this car

7.91 @167mph with the old engine in a A/MD (last season).

Building a new small block for it now, will be looking for 7.70's by the end of the season.

Would be nice to have a 1/4 mile track in SA instead of travelling to WSID as our home 1/4 mile track.

Does'nt Port Wakefield have a 1/4 mile track??

Port Wakefield doesnt have much of anything apart from red dirt, old people, unemployed bums and chook sheds.

Pretty sure they held a grand prix about 6000yrs ago

Dunno about a dragstrip though the road to kadina has some nice flat straight sections just out of wakefield.

edit: 10.3@129mph in a mates car, 11.3@117 in mine...

My first ever 1/4 mile pass was 12.02@121MPH on my bike, with a best of 11.8. I'm expecting my torry to do low 11s.
