I had a 292ci C50 5 tonner 7 foot wide Medium Chevy Truck,

that I shortened for parking in car parks and going through Drive through Hungry Jacks etc,

the 292 is very powerful, as I picked up a 1500kg Hiab Crane and it was on the back tray, and when I pulled up,

the chap there said, Gees that Truck moves around fast.

So, I have always wanted to put a 292ci in the LC Torana.

The 292 is around 4" taller than the 250 chev 6. Maybe you could fit it in?

The thing with the 292 rods is they are just like a 350 chev rod with around 2" added to the beam. They look scary too [weak] long for any serious work.

As far as pics of the car, I have a few old pics in an album and there are some floating around on the net but that's about it. Sorry.

Rod.

Thank-you Rod for that,

I have seen what the 292 can do at the Drags via You-tube Video's hey.

think there is a Turbo one as well,

also we see a lot of the 250 chevs as well

A couple weeks ago I went my best with a 12:0 @ 118mph
With a warmer track I hope to get at least .01 quicker and get into the 11's. ( track was only 11 degrees )

Yeah I couldnt leave any harder with street tyres ( kenda klever ). Yeah would've ran high 9's with some ET streets, well looking at the 138mph anyways. Wont be running 9's any time soon, gone back to an n/a 202, possibly a low 13 though lol. Cheers

Just watch out buddy. Note the 0.000 reaction time. Reflexes of a ninja lol
Disregard the one with a - at the start. That was a miss print ;)
