The missus has gone 10.44 @ 129.57 & ive gone 10.49 @ 130.40 in our chev powered 383 LC Torana

So the how often does the missus remind you she's run a faster time than you ? :D (LOL)

11.4 @ 128 mph is the fastest ive gone in the UC, crap time for the mph, but was run on only 185/60/13 tyres.

Yeah she rubs it in a fare bit,
But not as much as she reminds me that she has done 4 perfect .400 reaction times & in 4 different vehicle's to my 1,
She had them photo copied & laminated so she could display them on the fridge, just to rub it in more. HAHA

its all in the timing & who does your timing

First run with the new combo.
1/4 mile 10.9 @ 109mph Problems with top end as my 1/8 mile time on this pass was 6.736 @ 100.96
Should have it sorted for next outing & hoping to break under 10.5 seconds.

How fast does a 747 passenger jet do the 1/4 in, thats prob mine ... Great brakeing also !!

15.09 in a SV8 ... Funny story attached to this.

After 7 or 8 runs at the last QLD Torana drag day I got down to the above time. I said to my mate, hey you'll be going home in a 14 second car soon enough.

Anyways, after a few more runs we decided to call it a night and he said, who am I going home with seeing you didnt break into the 14's?

Prick !!

Changes sorted out & ran a 10.168 @ 132 MPH with front wheel of the ground at the launch. I was hoping to run just under 10.5 so I'm doing back flips. This was on Avgas & have got a drum of VP race fuel so I might be able to break into the 9's?
Had Ned from Solo do some work on the car. He is a genius.

My best 1/4 mile time is [email protected] in my 1975 Toranasaurus snow white sedan .early 90's

We raced the car all over the place Calder park , adelaide (blowing both the drivers and passengers doors off in successive low 8 second passes ) Canberra 1/8th mile with a 1.20 60ft ,Willowbank with a 1.10 60ft on a 8.01 with a 7.99 dial in chasing a 10 second cortina!! and of course the old Ravenswood track 2.5 days to get there hardly any sleep and blew the planitary gears to smitherines fixed that and still only raced for 24 seconds .and Eastern creek

lots of fun though kept me poor car is now in Qld with a best of 7.88 i think ! changed colour though Maroon and blue graphix.

if some one can tell me how to upload a video i will put it up as i have great footage from inside the car going down the tracks mentioned .

Enjoy
