a while ago i made myself this guide and i keep it handy in the garage. thought u guys could use it too. print it out, laminate it, or watever.

Normally if you buy a whole set (rather than individual bits) you will get something like that with it.
I bet there aren't many yuppies who keep info on tap drill sizes in their phones!

Metric is very easy. you minus the pitch from the diameter to give the drill size
M16x2.0 pitch = 14mm drill bit
it also has something to do with material hardness as well but probably not worth going into unless the thread strength is critical
