Hi peoples one for the xu1 boys can any one tell me what brand of battery will fit in my gtr as i just put a set of tripples on and the battery i bought is way to tall to shut the bonnet and yes i have installed a xu1 battery tray any info would be great thanks.G.

Any of the well known trusted brands with these dimensions . 230 LONG , 135 WIDE , and 180 HIGH ----- excluding the terminals .

Hi

Make sure the terminals are oriented correctly with the posts towards the engine with the negative to the front. I use an Exide P310D

Maybe use an EA/B/D Falcon battery with the right CCA.

The poles are oriented the other way around, so you don't foul the triples.
Neg at front outside corner does not contact the bonnet in Ms_Cameo_Gold's GTR.
