Yep cars were coming and going all morning, lots of beautiful machines! Just got back a few minutes ago, had a ball.

Weather dried up later on actually. But yeah the rain wasn't exactly what we needed

tintr, brett_32i and studricho, absolute pleasure meeting you guys! Hope it won't be the last time we get to hang around and talk shit about cars :)

Always good seeing the familiar faces too

Cheers

Awesome turnout!!! The weather for some reason was nothing like forecast! (Typical Melbourne!!!!)

I think Paul (LX2DR) Counted 18 Hatches came and put there car on show! I saw at least another 2 that came, couldnt find a car spot and kept driving!

Over the whole day, i reckon there was at least 40 very very nice torry's rock up! And considering the weather is just awesome!!! The Ad in the Herald sun seemed to work a treat! Lots of interest generated from there!

Bring on the next one!!! Looking forward to the Maroondah Dam cruise now! That's only 2 weeks away i think!!! SWEEEETTT! Oh and Knox cruise nights!!! WOOHOOO!!! This time of year is AWESOME! And its Daylight savings now too!!!!

Wicked turnout guys. Wish mine was down there now... Good to see everyone together.
Spewing I got down there late and had to leave early. Wanted to hang around longer. Bloody slept in!
Bring on the Maroondah Dam Cruise now! I think I'm not going to drive my car a good week in
before the cruise so it doesn't break on me again just before an event. haha.

Fantastic photos everyone! The turnout today was awesome, better than we'd ever hoped for.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH to everyone who rocked up, with a car on display, or as a spectator, it made the day a ripper. I met a heap of new people.. everyone was very friendly and it was just great to hang out and talk Torana's all day.

Talk about hatchback city - it was amazing how many hatches come out to play. I was glad to see lots of LC/LJ's in the end as well, plus a few very tidy UC's. Lots of cool engine conversions and highly detailed and customised cars. I reckon I saw easy 40 - 50 Torries from start to finish :)

Typical Melbourne weather though - the first couple of hours were wet and rainy, then it dried up, then it was hot and sunny! By that stage though, most people had left. Deb and I hung around right till the end, and even then, more people and more Torana's were still rocking up to check out the show - we had to break their hearts and tell them it was over and they missed out :(

Once again, thanks very much to all who came down. Top day, I had a blast.

Hey Paul (Studricho)

About 5min after you left, some guy came on a motorbike. He over heard me mention your name and asked about you! haha! Not sure if/how you knew him? Anyway, thanks for coming down! Was good fun last night just eating pizza, having beers and playing on the cars (Besides your silly thread! ARSEHOLE!) Also thanks for helping us get Gary's car to the show!

Gaz, time for a namechange? guns n roses is now MRLX?? LOL

I bought some new numberplate covers from autobarn, and a clay bar! Put the new covers on this arvo! Looks great! And also tried the claybar! Can't wait to find some time and do it on the ute! It will work a treat!!!

Was it just the alternator that caused your little issue, or is it something more serious ?

Great day everyone, I really enjoyed myself.
Good on you for making the long trip down Paui (studricho), it was awesome to see your car in the flesh and find out more about the conversion.

Looking forward to more Torana events over the next months, and knox cruise night starting up again.

Did anyone get a pic of that Black LC that showed up at the end? That thing was absolutely MINT!
