Hi Ya Guys :)

As a Vehicle Recovery Expert Haha hate the TOWIE headline
I don't like the idea of pulling a torana up the tilt tray with the eye bolt in the bumper idea - Sorry :(

2 reason's the side force thing, not a big drama as stated but more so the down force once the car is loaded on the truck.
As you know most operators will use the winch cable to hold the car in place on the truck. With tension on the cable any bumps in the road will jerk on the cable maybe pulling the front rails down in the process. Have seen this many times on BMW's as some other cars that use the front bumper screw in eye bolt configaration.

The weld U-Bolt idea is the best :) or straps around the lower control arms then get the victim, OppPs I mean the owner to stand on the straps as I pull the car up the tray. Torana's only go on the truck forward! Backwards is harder. PLUS they look wrong on the truck backwards, which is fine for fords or other crapping cars BUT not TORANA"s lol

Spoiler damage!? If he scratches your car HIT him haha!

Had to get a hair cut and a real job but still do some towing in the afternoons and week-ends if you guys want someone to truly look after your baby.

Yea I agree with Fatman about leaving the winch under tension is bad...

I recently loaded my Torry on a til tray using the eyebolt on the bumper, could see it Flex slightly but went up fine, but then once in position I could see what he described and would be pulling down on the bar mount...

So we put straps around all the tyres and left the winch with some slack.

Whats your number fatman? will surely need the car moved in the future... Altho I think ive struck gold with the towie I found, it seems no matter where I go its always $50... Maddington to Rockingham $50. Malaga to Maddington $50 hehe I love it, ill never use a car trailer again while he's around. He takes alot of care too.
