I will be givin my commodore a run to brisvegas from the sunshine coast this weekend and plan to go to Munchies on the Friday night
anyone else from the north want to cruise down? at this stage I am open to suggestion with times and meeting points

I'm hoping to get there this week, but I'm not on the north side.
I've been trying to get there for the last 2 weeks but sh*t keeps getting in the way.

maybe slightly later, like 6:30, traffic is pretty crap at 6, and leave at 7 and be at munchies by 7:45-8 ? is that good for everyone?

should of been last friday night it was huge ,Johnny Wilson drove his blown injected 500 bbc, black hk bathurst monaro there with fieballs old blown 57 sports coupe ,the carpark was full.

I went through the RBT on Beaudesert rd (just up from Kameruka st, cop shop) you don't mean this by any chance ?

Sorry to annoy you with the questions, but did they happen to tell you on what road and where ?
If it was on Beaudesert Rd, Perhaps it may have looked like it was vehicle inspections to someone travelling past in the other direction, i was in the queue for the RBT, and I even thought it was a DOT mobile test station, and they had the big overhead type lights like they do for inspections etc.
I was in the torrie, so as i was going through i was looking for evidence of any vehicle inspections or rolling road etc ,did not see anything but RBT.

Yeah, take it easy as you approach the tunnels on Compton, as they have plenty of room on both sides of each direction to set up RBT or Inspection - RBT is VERY common there.

wont be going tonight as i couldn't buy a spigot bush off the shelf and had to get one turned down instead. will be there next week most likely.
