Quick question, Archie. Can you have a look and see if your copy of the UC Torana ILLUSTRATION manual has pages 3-28 & 3-29?

If so it would be worth grabbing that as well, for some reason they're missing from Steve's copy.

EDIT: Sorry, I meant your scanned copy (well I guess if they're missing from the paper copy too then there's no point looking at the scanned copy).

Just looked . My copy is the July 1981 revision and NO it doesn't have those pages.

It goes from 03-26A directly to 04A-1

I think a politician wrote the VF manual.  They call a nylock a "Nylon Interface Prevailing Torque Fastener."

I m pretty sure my one has pages missing as the illustration section was not bound like text section.

Pages are loose in folder and probably fell out after holes tore.

Okay I have a challenge for all the budding parts interpreters out there, can anyone find me a listing (or even a group) for the jack instruction label, in any LH, LX or UC model?

I can't find it anywhere... cheeky bastards even drew a picture of it on page 409 of the LX (M37758) manual...

LX-Jack-Label.jpg

...and I even have the GMH part numbers for the labels from the Torana RPA website:

LX Hatchback p/n 9938903 (BB)
LH / LX Sedan p/n 9945101 (BC)
UC Sedan p/n 92005772 (BG)
UC Hatchback p/n 92005773 (BH)

But it's just annoying the hell outta me not being able to find them listed? (Yes I know I don't really need to find them)

P.S. I find it ironic that the same drawing on the actual jack label doesn't have the jack label... :P

Good link.. thanks Brad.
p.s regarding Ian's CD carbs/ Daves advice...
Could this have something to do with the carb rebuilders confusion?
From the 72 LJ parts cat...note one of the pics is actually noted as 70 XU1, 150 CD carbs. Seems to be some orientation differences between the 2 pics.
Just a thought.

Hi Brad, sadly the LX Sunbird supplement is the one i am chasing. The picture is just for reference.

Hi Andrew, the HJ/HK sit in the same folder, I must have pasted a link to the folder and not individual documents. unable to edit post now.... I don't have the VL with text but if someone has and sends me a copy i can store it on dropbox for everyone.

I also have the GMH software manuals for VN, VR, VS, VT, VX. But you'd need an old PC running XP to get them working.

Those software manuals would be great if I could download them please.

Col, This tuning manual shows a different orientation as well.  Not saying anyone is right or wrong.  Just there is differing images out there.  And now i'm interested why?
