Modified UC - Something just a little bit different

Now we all know that the UC isnt the prettiest car on the block and a lot of people modify them to make them a bit more appealing. This one however is just a little bit, um, different (trying my best to be politically correct folks). Somehow Datsun 240k and UC Torana dont go too well but hey, its unique and the proceeds from the sale go to a good cause so kudos to the owner.

I really don't like any of it. I'm sure it's functional, but I don't think it does much for the appearance.

And as far as the money going to a good cause if he sells it
Some of it should come to me
Since he never did the rust repairs on my car he was paid to do or return my money or steering column
(I contracted him to do some rust repairs before I saw this abomination... at least its only a UC)

My mate has the the factory unit across from him and i met the bloke a few times. He was a bit of a trippa but seemed nice. He was telling me that he was going to chop it in half and widen it, maby he did, but cant really tell by the pics.
Thats a pretty impressive 250rwKW (330rwhp) out of his 189 sucking through a 390 holly.
Also you wouldn't want it to throw a rod.

Car hardly ever ran and when it did it spewed so much oil and trans fluid out (inc the cortina power steer) that it never got far anyway

Sure he hasn't finished them off nicely but they look ok, just need to be properly incorporated into the body.
Overall I dont dislike the look the of the car but would probably not want to own one either
But for a race car it looks fine.

to get 300+ rwhp out of a Holden 6, you have to spend BIG BUCKS! It takes a lot of precision machining and engineering. The Group C (Or is it NC) LC/LJ race cars, are just pushing those type of numbers! Not saying 250rwkw ain't possible out of a Holden 6, just saying that 189? ain't any where near that power (Just by judging the presicion gone into the build of the car to date!
I'd love to be proven wrong though!

love the industrial steering knob on the wheel too! great work!
Tailights are uglier then regular UC lights.
is the grille/headlight from an earlier BMW?

I'd take standard UC headlights and tail lights any day of the week over that!
Matt,
can you airbrush out the snowplow, side skirts and whatever that thing on the back is so we can see what it would look like with just the lights?
