Ok I cant tell you if this car is still around but I can fill in a few details.
The car was sponsored by ANDRE tuning. This was a tuning place in South Melbourne run by Mark Andre'.
mark was working for GMH in the development of the L34 engine package for the racing campaign
I am not sure what happened to mark. I had my car to him in the late 1970's and he was a whizz with the cars and tuning them. I will see what more I can dig up

it was owened by hillclimber and part time racer Mike Minnear.

I saw this pic on flickr today and just did a search to see if it'd been posted before. Was looking up mt tarrengower after finding some ticket stubs from the hill climb amongst glove box paper work in a car. Has anyone got any further info since posted in 2009?

I had the picture in the O.P. captioned as Castrol International Rally. The Andre Tuning certainly points to it being the Minnear car.
The two shots below are of Mike's car early in it's career. I have some more at home but I'm not there.
