Can also confirm a factory lx ateering uni will bolt straight up.. couple years ago saw a bloke with nice lj parked up side of the road on weird angle.. the nolathane one had fallen to pieces luckily while reversing out of his driveway

the steering coupling.

There’s a guy in UK that sells lots of 9 original couplings for around $275 aud with gst included landed on your doorstep. Item listing number 254999162130. Sorry unsure how to put link up.. Probably where half the Aussie sellers sourced em from, as they used to be cheap as chips in UK a few years ago.

Yes, ohhh sooo true, twas the day before leavin for Bathurst, that noticed it needed replacement. Neva had any time for online shoppin, just had to grin an bear it.
