Ok! well I guess this is the only way we will get some sort of colour register happening

H191438 brisbane built 4/71 sold through Eagers Newstead to a Mr Brian Morris of Wavell Heights
(all details confirmed through Freedom of Information in 2007 and personally viewed by Brian Morris in 2008. Further documents and records given to me by brian )

Car is currently painted glacier white.

I know of another in SA so i will let the owner post details if he chooses.
There was a very nice CK car at all holden day brisbane a few years back as well
as a 3100X car as seen in my avatar.

Ok Luke, that be me I suppose! Mine is H193456, 30 Apr 71 according to the fiche. Sold from dealer 899, which I think was Harrisons in Albion QLD. Not too sure of its history, other than it moved from QLD to SA to VIC and back to SA now with me. It looks like it has done time rallying or autocrossing going by some of the mods.

I know of two in the Bendigo area, one 8/70 and the other 2/71. Both Adelaide cars. The 8/70 has had the same owner almost since new.

FWIW, Adelaide cars had an 'L' ID. And I think sagman's car started life lina mint?

I thought they just whacked the stickers over the original paint, but probably wrong. I'll ask next time he calls.

Please correct me if i am wrong but i do beleive i have the earliest LC XU-1 still surviving ?

CL 157924 , Build date 14 - 8 - 1970 , Car number 13" out of Adelaide , Yellow dolly car , dealer number

664 which is Peers motors.

Car is currently undergoing a full concours restoration.

Was last registered in 1981 , never been pranged , never had rust.

May post some pics a little later.

Hang on, it is one of the two best colours!! Start a thread. We're moving forward with all of this.
As with others, it would be good to have cars included but you can have certain details withheld for privacy if you like.

Please correct me if i am wrong but i do beleive i have the earliest LC XU-1 still surviving ?

CL 157924 , Build date 14 - 8 - 1970 , Car number 13" out of Adelaide , Yellow dolly car , dealer number

664 which is Peers motors. It is also the first LC XU-1 to have its engine number recorded by GMH.

Car is currently undergoing a full concours restoration.

Was last registered in 1981 , never been pranged , never had rust.

May post some pics a little later.

Hatchblack had a yellow dolly GTR but it was too far gone to resto. �NOt sure what happened to it, but he may still have the numbers.......

Yes your close but no.4 adelaide built is alive and well and will begin resto shortly from what he tells me and the owner can disclose anymore info if he wishes.
