Cleaning up the engine loom and adding a few extra wires and found this. Power feed to wipers.

The reaction disc is a real trap. When we first purchased the wife's EH many years ago - it had terrible brakes - either on or off feeling. Shocking to drive. Who knows how long the previous owner had lived with it like that - but I ended up getting the booster reco'd, and as part of that exercise got told about reaction discs (had never heard of them before) - and bingo - it had been left out. Once replaced, all was well!
