hey rob350hatch, those rims are sweet you say you got them from retro can you tell me who and were they are because i wouldnt mind haven a look at what they got.

Scott

i had to 16 to get tyres to suit ive got a stack of 14 and 15 inch but cant get any decent comp tyres.i was a bit worried about 16s being to tall but side by side with the 10x15 hotwires and the 285/40/15 avs theres really nothing in it .retro is in mortdale a southern suburb of sydney. richard is his name, phone is 0295703033 ill think youll find he'll go from 13 to 16 in all the styles and i think he can go out to 12 inch wide.about the only torana freindly sizes.he does do larger 17,18,19 but why would you want them they look crap on old cars.this thing lately of putting 20 inch etc wheels on old fords and holdens ,fingers down the throat stuff.i think he's got all their equipment so i gather he is now the simmons bloke i think you will find you will be able to get the smaller size fr as well.and the quality of the finished product is just unbelievable.

Fat 16" V5s with step up lips, fitted with semi slicks, I can't imagine better rolling stock for a Torana

Nice one! :spoton:

yeah its going on no 14 i could have gone bigger but the nightmare of rubbing bodywork and cost versus the illusion of the real thing with the combo i chose wins out.all i can say is geez they must have cut some stuff out of those guards to get it right to hard basket

Just got off the phone from tempe tyres, ask about getting some simmon v5's and was told that they only make 17"+ rims as any 15" and 16" tyres are now pretty much hard to get.
What i can't understand is why are 15x10 rims etc: pulling in big money?
Rob, how about some more pics of those rims.

I see they are now up and running, has anyone had any experiences with the new wheels?

look good from the photos on the website, just want to know if there still as good as the original simmons wheels before I order some.
