Found this HB in a shed tonight going back Saturday to get it what is it? I think its a type 1 S Brabham.
Stamped in the wheel arch left is I think HB 82411 AOMO8A on a small long plate is 82411BC112547 All I have to do is get it all home and finish windows and chrome.
Its all there and about 10 more big boxes of more 2nd and 3rd parts there are Brabham badges in a box and s badges but its my 1st Torana. Can anyone tell me by the numbers what it is yer ?

Great find :spoton:

Hope the price is right, Mmmmm sounds like a good name for a "Game Show" for TV :tease:

Not many HB's around and they were a very reliable car.

Everyone that has told me that they had owned one have mentioned about having trouble free motoring.

Regards ... Barry

my best mate was an apprentice at holdens woodville and bought a new HB 2dr silver mink with red interior in 1968, didn't make it to melbourne. Holdens shipped it back and repaired it free, the clutch collapsed.
drove it for yrs after that without dramas, except pregnant girlfriend (Torana parking)

Sounds good. Got photos?

A mate of mine just picked up an HB for a case of pre-mixed Bundy long-necks.

The old HBs seem to be coming out of the woodwork at the moment!!

G'day Mark

If you get the car I have a "Scientific Publications' Workshop Manual Series No.7" with speicifications, repairs and maintenance data covering the HB Sedan "S" & "SL" 1967-69 published 1973.

You can HAVE it :)

Nice find xpack

HTC has a number of HB's in the club including Brabham's.

Just the privilege of owning a HB gives you an opportunity to be accepted into the Inner Sanctum......

Funny you say that my first thought when I read it was hmmm wonder whats amongst the parts!...

Xpack if you end up looking at getting rid of any of the parts please give me a yell.... a friend down here is chasing some... I know off hand he's after a glove box latch and I think also some other interior bits
