UC tail lights...... you can't improve on perfection LMAO. but seriously tinting does improve the look a bit.

Also I reckon the front end looks a bit like a baby WB :dontknow: any thoughts??

hahahah, I like that. Very funny.

I guess the UC front is a bit like a WB, as they're both ugly Posted Image

I think the perfect tail lights for a UC are whatever the owner wants. I still don't understand why the indicators are next to the number plate. Weird????

Cheers yeah I think some GM cars like the Camaro and maybe some Fords have the indicators on the inside. :dontknow:

Also LC's have in have indicators on the inside maybe the designers were paying homage to that style. Seeing as though the UC was the last Torry and the LC was the first real Torry (no offence intended HB owners)

The tail lights (if there was no indicator on the UC) imo would look similiar to a Mustang GT350 Eleanor lol :D

But if the LC was the first real torry, that would make the LX the last real one, not the UC. :P

Saw it in the flesh at Rangiora, not my cup of tea at all but I guess I can appreciate the effort that's gone into it.

My linkYea it looks pretty damn impressive but not for me. Not a big fan of the over the top 'showy' look, and dislike the current fad of shoving a commodore interior into an old car (seems to be happening with a few monaros). But you are right, an incredible amount of workmanship.

Looks a lot better with normal lights!

Red trim is a bit much... But I don't mind the two-tone look... Very Foose

Yes that is true, but...... would they be better than UCs. If you look closely you can see that the original housing hasn't been filled in flush, would be easy to adapt.

No - they look worse than UC lights - round lights and square body just doesn't look right.

Hey Vinny. I think those UC lights in your sedan look great! I don't see what that problem is : ) hahaha

Niterida, if you don't like round lights in square cars then I guess you don't like LH/LX toranas, HK/T/G holdens, XR/T/W/Y falcons etc? I know, I'm just being a pain : ) Posted Image

Or were you only talking about tail lights???

Round lights can still look great in square cars, but I agree on a UC the best tail lights would be something squarish IMO

That showcar has HZ or similar headlight surrounds which ruin the front end for me. I like the front indicators on it, but all of their niceness is void by the big stupid wheels. Tail lights are kinda okay but while having them as a 'bolt in thing' might be practical and good for the next owner, it makes them look like a new car that has plastic covers masking half of the standard tail lights i.e. tacky.

Doesn't mean I wouldn't own it though hahaha

The wheels look to big, and i dont mind the Kingswood headlight surrounds, it makes it stand out and not look like every other Torana. Dont like the Kmart tail lights though. But other than that it looks like a great car.

Nathan that looks sick!

Phat rubber, black beaver panel + tinted (like nathans) looks great, but most of the time the lenses are just in need of a good polish. Polish em up to glass and show em off :) I've got a set polished be waiting to be fitting again when I get it repaired. they can look quite alright on a good example of a uc.

I don't get people turning them upside down tho, doesn't look right gotta have the indicators on the inside

Yeah if you put them on the wrong way, the shape looks crap on the outside edges, and when you put the tail or brake lights on, it makes the car look silly (lights are too close together, makes it look skinny)

Besides perhaps looking odd it is a legality problem also as the tailights would not be not close enough to the perimeter of the vehicle to meet adr regs.

Ah! Then why do the LH/X have the indicator on the outside?

Because someone designed them that way!

The lamps are overall much smaller on the lh/x and allows the tail lights to be set within the required distance from the perimeter.

i dont care what my tail lights look like because i cant see them when im driving and no one behind me can see them because there is usualy alot of smoke coming from the back of the car(from the rear main seal leaking onto the exhaust) haha. there is that many shapes and sizes of led lights that it shouldnt be hard to find something that looks good.

If they simply had of put LH/X lights in them they would have been fine.  The front is fine on a UC...

My advice is don't buy it ..

Why buy something if you don't like it

The great man himself said it was the best handling torana to drive.

The latest suspension and four wheel discs.

Cant believe people knock the Ultimate Car because of this and that but then rape the model for it better parts

Each to there own but it will always be the last torana ever built
