Here some Pics of the Bob Forbes Le Mans Lightweight A9X Hatchback,owned by John Coxhead from 1982,was a Street&Strip Car that did 12 Seconds Flat over the Qrt,from a 308 V8 Motor

Is this confirmed it was a Le Mans ?
I thought they were accounted for
Could this have just been a GMP-A shell converted to a roadcar ?

Yes it is "one" of those Lemans intended cars.
I'm sure this has been covered.

Here is one of the 3 Lightweight A9X Hatches,Does REDA9X know about this one,it was in Unique cars Magazine For Sale in the 1990's. ???????

Yes, I know that car, built for Bob Jane, not one of the 33 rolling shells. This is one of 2 Bob had the panels made for in adelaide where they were thinner and lighter. The first car was raced, this one wasn't.

Red car is still in Canberra under a carport, wish it was mine but the guy won't sell it, could not afford it anyway.

I thought this car was on the market in 2014-15 ? Maybe did not sell ? They were talking about a small island......

Not really. When you could have bought one each of HK-HQ 81837 for that money and if you bought wisely had $ left for an XU1.

This car is very tired now and needs lots of work. I remember him driving it to my place just after buying it from the ad above. We went for a drive and it went hard. Sadly the owner has the arse hanging out of his pants but still will not sell it. And we convinced him to bring it up to Torana the Great back in 2004 to shut all the doubters up :-)
