The Rogers car is in Sydney, I've seen it at Oran Park, Eastern Creek and at Bathurst for Torana the Great.

I don't know what happened to the 78 car then. I've got a photo of the 78 car after the crash and it is really badly bent.

Here's the Janson - Perkins car.Yes i know about that car that is supposed to be the 1977 janson / perkins one, I am trying to find any info on the 1978 car driven by janson / brock, I was told someone in sydney bought the car around 1998 to 2002 out of unique cars,Thanks all for your help.
Was for sale in WA late last year for around $145,000.00.

I still have the email from the owner and i quote - "My car is the ex 1978 Peter Janson Phil Brock Bathurst car, built brand new for Bathurst but crashed in practice by Brock and did not start the race. It is the sister car to the one you have in Perth.
It is not in as raced condition, it is restored back to original condition so imagine you could go back to 1977 and buy a brand new GMP&A A9X from new painted in chrome yellow (Jansons race color) fitted with L34 spec engine and Hotwire wheels.
It is very very similar to the car in the latest Street Machine mag but has original fuel tank not drop tank. Car has traveled 13,000 km on NZ roads since being restored by Robert Hands in Melbourne. It is in immaculate condition, with group C style exhaust, and black trim. You would not find a better road car, but if you are looking for a turn key race car its not for you."
Negotiations broke down following a lack of supporting evidence.

Does anyone know the where about's of the Janson / Brock A9X from 1978, The last i heard it was for sale in unique cars approx 1998 to 2002 and sold to someone in NSW. If some of you don't remember this car was very badley smashed in practise by (splitpin) Phillip Brock at bathurst 1978. If someone has any old copies could they check, it was a smaller 1/4 page add and the car was painted yellow. Would like to find this one.
Did anyone come up with the add from unique cars ?
