Thanks Steve

I am glad that you liked the parts.

As for the Black Pinchweld and the heater hoses, I just got back from Port Botany (that place is intimidating, to say the least) this arvo so these will be ready for sale very, very soon.

Just to summarise what I have just rec'd;

Torana/ Holden Black Pinchweld,
Hatch Rear Quarter Window Seals (these may fit LC/LJ Coupes. We just need to confirm),
LX V8 (27A) Heater Hoses (both 4.2 and 5.0lt),
LH/LX Heater Control Knobs,
LX Grille Badge Bracket and nuts, and
LX/ UC Brake Pipe through Grommet Skirt.

cheers
Mick

Hi Matty

Glad that you are happy with the Dome nuts, etc.

Mate, I am not doing the actual Grille Badge (although I would like to), It is the bracket and nuts that are used to hold the badge to the grille. If you look through the previous posts, you will see what I am talking about.

cheers
Mick

That is great you are doing them! That is one thing actually I will need for my car. The old ones have like shrunk back and there is a gap in the rear corners where they don't even touch the body any more

1 set of seals: $75.00
Packaging: $ 5.00
Sub total: $80.00

If by Air Mail: $40.30
Total: $120.30

If by Sea Mail: $27.80

I wouldn't use sea mail....too much of a chance it taking aaaaaaaages to arrive. Airmail is the way to go (the post office here now only sends air to Oz actually)

I'll be in touch shortly for a set ! (waiting on some customers to pay me for some things actually , ha ha..)

Any plans to make windscreen rubbers & or the chrome mylar locking strip to suit LC-LJ, LH-LX-UC? Very recently this topic was discussed & the rubbers & mylar strip currently available came under some critisism. I'd be interested in both, particularly the mylar strip for both my LH Torana projects. Cheers Matt

Hi Matt

at this stage, I have no plans to do these items, but I may look at it in the future as I do have some NOS samples of the mylar strip. I agree, the stuff that is being made is no where near the correct profile and that makes it hard to install. I had to install new strip in the Sunbird last year and it wasn't fun!!

cheers

I pulled my originals out about 2 months ago and had to destroy them to get them out.
After reading the stories about the repro ones i wish i had of spent more time and got them out in one piece.
I now pull every piece off with good intent of using it again.

Not sure if it is just me but i would rather pay double for somthing that is correct than half for something that is not.

If you ever think about it mick put me in for 2 pairs at double the price.

steve
