just wanting to remove the choke cable and fitting and dont want to damage the puller. is there a grub screw or something holding it on because i've pulled on it but dont want to break anything perhaps its been super glued on :(

Hi
As I recall - the choke control is in 2 parts, the inner cable and the outer cable. To remove the inner cable (the knob is permanently attached to this) disconnect it under the bonnet and withdraw the cable from inside the vehicle. If the end of the inner cable has a kink in it - you may have to straighten it with a pair of pliers to ease withdrawal.
To remove the outer cable disconnect it under the bonnet and then undo the retaining nut surrounding the outer cable which is found behind the dash panel inside the vehicle. The outer cable can then be withdrawn into the vehicle.
Reinstalling is simply the reverse.
