i put a t56 into my lx hdt replica i use the vy internal slave .just wondering what master cylinder setups others have used or did the holden one work fine and also any tips on how you adapted the pushrod to the torana pedal.i know mal wood has a pedal and aluminium resevior with a braided line for around 700 but this requires the box to come out again to fit.do you think the holden line will do the job my thoughts are it will but what are your experiences
anyone done this.

I used a GM one...think it might have been for an S10, but I would have to dig through my old numbers and notes...I was going to try and use the 2000 year model Camaro one my engine and trans came from, but this other one I stumbled across was the perfect angle for the firewall I reckoned.
For the linkage..this one had a really long push rod with an eyelet on the end. I just welded an extra arm onto the clutch pedal and just cut the pushrod to length and then ran a die over the pushrod and screwed a rod end onto it. Works perfectly !

I used the factory throwout assembly of course too...believe the Camaro one would be similar to the Commodore one...

Oh, and on the underdash pics...the push rod pushes nice and straight, just looks odd in some of the shots from trying to hold the camera under there, ha ha..

I remember looking at a late Commodore T56 setup (at least the transmission side) at one point but at this point I can't remember the differences...I looked at alot of stuff, lol...

I just did alot of checking and a little trial and error trying to find one with a good angle to mount to the firewall and would give a good throw angle under the dash as well. The way it is now, the push rod has nearly a straight 'push' coming off the pedal and into the master cylinder itself. No binding what so ever and very smooth.

Oh, and there is alot more wiring everywhere, ha ha... Thanks !
