After umming and arrring alot I decided to fill the firewall in where the heater box go's, I thought about it, and decided just to use electric heaters for demist only, the car wont have A/C as I live in Melbourne and only use it 2 days a year!! And it won't be driven everyday, so yeah, I bit the bullet and filled in that section with some new sheet too.

Now I give the whole engine bay a good sand and properly prime the whole thing at once.

...n Thats about all the work I could manage to get done last weekend.

Looking Good!

I wish I had the patience, equipment and skills to do my engine bay!

I look forward to one day seeing this on the road! Good to see another Hills Local with a Torry!

Na not yet, I will probably just use a couple of 12v hairdryers or something and vent them into the factory system some how. The switches could also be incorporated into the factory location. But dunno yet, I'll look at it when doing the wiring for the Engine.

Cheers

Thanks Mick, Yeh I'm leaving it without Flares, not that I have anything against them or anything, but I'm keen to go for the Pro-Street look (without anything out of the hood) with the Mini Tub's Etc. I've been looking and the McDonald Bro's Clips thinking I might have a go at one. So yeah it wont have Flares, spoilers or scoops, I want to try to keep everything inside.

Cheers

Fair enough Bomber, I eye-balled a set of their Aluminum heads at my machinists joint on the weekend and they looked pretty good. I reckon the Dash 9's might be better but I wanna use the contacts I have. Apparently anything would be better that the VT heads as the walls can be quite thin for porting.
Having said all that, I have never used any of their stuff and have no reports on any of it either, so I appreciate the heads up.

Cheers
