Hi guy,s & ladies. Just wondering if anyone KNOWS whether Brisbane lj xu1 vent pipe clips were painted in the car or before assembly as because i believe the body colour was behind the vent pipe when removed hence im "guessing" that would off coped some paint when in there. Yes i paintstriped it & didn't check oop's. Couldn,t see gm saying hey make sure you mask those thing,s in the boot of that 3 & a half thousand $ car can you ?? Aldo you would probably know this answer "Hopefully" some one can post some good clear pic's for us . Thank's in advance Grumpy xu1

G/day Gary

I'm betting the clips and vent pipe were installed after the paint was applied.

Were the XU-1 fuel tank breather line clips used on any other models and are there any still available? From what I've heard in the past I don't think that these are being reproduced.

Hi James,

I've heard they're hard to remove with-out breaking. They're not reproduced and they can sell for $$$.

Yep, just like trying to remove the brake line clips. I recall a dreamer on eBay asking for a crazy price for a set.
