If you find what you're after Brett, could you send it over to my address too? Definitely interested in hearing more

I know I've come in late and haven't thouroughly read all the posts but I agree with T/Matt on the hanging brackets. More to twist and effectively loose roll bar efficiency.

If it were me, I'd be looking at other bars that could mount to the chassis near the bumper mounts and act on the upper control arm rather than the lower. Same result without the geographical nightmare.
Look at standard Mazda 626 (Limo, maybe 929?) bars from late 80's. 25mm (maybe 27mm?) standard.

Geometric nighmare, yes! but I'm not so sure upper arm is structurally strong enough, nor are the upper bushes up big enough
to withstand the extra twisting forces that will be applied.

Just to bring this one back from the dead

The whiteline front mount bar BHF35 will not bolt to a UC due to the different design of the area where the bumper brackets bolt

What have people done to get this var to fit a UC ?

Make own brackets ?

Pics would really help too

Hey Dattoman, I have a UC with a 308. I after talking to Todd Selby (at signature sway bars) I have brought a 25mm signature front mount bar. I got the LH-LX type & have modified the brackets after looking at a mates LX to see how it would have mounted up there. I also put one of their adjustable 18mm " Detroit 9" " bars on my rear.
I basically just shortened the mounting plates a little put some rivet nuts into the outsides of my rails & also bolted it to thee costing bumper bar mounting brackets. On the couple of small tests I've done in my street so far it seems to clear everything including my 330mm rotors & 17x8" wheels (with 5 9/16" backspace).
Not sure how is is going to be long term on the road, as the car is yet to be registered....
The bar has greater than 90deg bend sat the front & then widens where the adjustable hold are drilled. Allowing full lock with no rubbing on inside of wheels/tyres.
