G'day Wayne,

Ive been searching high and low for one of these, looking forward to seeing the pics... Are you selling them or a third party? If so, can I have my Father in-law collect it from Mt Barker?

Cheers,
John (From Leeton NSW)

Apparently there is no difference from the original ones.

I will get some photos from Outer Control and post them here - I think the Commodore 64 may struggle from time to time.

Awesome, I have just posted today that my boot mat is far from usable.
Has anyone else purchased one of these mats? Will there be any left? (I will ring and check)
Man I love this forum.

Ok, here is the latest!!!!!!!

Just called Martin (who is not Outer Control swarbs B) ) and he is indeed making the boot mats.

He operates under the business name Obsolete Rubber and his lead time for the mats is 6 to 8 weeks.

He asks for a $100 deposit sent to his PO box as in a cheque, then he will send off the mat/s and then you send the rest of the payment. Now this is very trusting of Martin and is a  great way to save us from shelling out the whole lot in one go so let's respect that.

Contact details as follows, If this is not cool to reveal a business address then please remove Moderators.

[email protected]

Obsolete Rubber

PO Box 87

Avondale Heights

Vic 3034

Apparently Martin advertises in the Just Cars mags and I said I would give him a plug here. No web site was mentioned and I didnt ask about any other products but who knows what he might make.

Give him a call on the mobile number in the first post and go from there fuzzslr3300/guys.

Cheers, Brad

First post a little confusing  - can be taken as going through Wayne hence a bit more confusing when a Martin answers the phone

All clear as mud now

Just an update on these

Brad (Red One) and myself being damn near next door neighbors (2 1/2 hours up the road) have pooled resources and  have picked up one each

Quality and fit is spot on

Brad is flying his leerjet down to pick his up

There is round a two month wait for manufacture

Learjet, Haha,

Yep as swarbs said outa control have said they look and fit great. I can confirm this after putting mine in today for a look.

The rubber is very tough and pliable. Great stuff.
