Hi Anton!!!!

A familiar face (or username)!!! hahahaha.

Im just an old school classic car man, no bias between GM, Ford, MOPAR,

Nah, I wasnt sure if the guys here would be interested in the Sh*t box.

As for the rims, little baby 13's!!! Makes it look very Gemini'ish I think! Ive got no idea what wheels Ill run, no bigger then 15in though.

How long have you been hiding this beast Brad, and who did the paint and panel. It looks straight as!

Its a very recent acquisition mate. The paint/panel was done at a local shop up here. Its not as good as my red car but its good enough for a street car which this will be. No living in bubbles for this one.

Its interesting looking at the details of the car, LH L31 SL/R 5000 in Tuxedo black seems to be a fairly rare thing, and the Chamois interior with the Chevron Cloth inserts in the seats is also another rarity. The car will be going back to a stock appearance.

I had a read through your resto page, looks like your hookin in quite well! Good to see!

My honest opinion, is that if i was buying new back in the day, that a Black SL/R 5000 with chamois interior would be so damn HOT! But OMG... talk about a PITA to keep clean, inside AND out!!!!! :o Still, its an awesome combo. Hurry up and finish it Brad! :P

Steady up!!! hahahaha. Im not planning on having this done for about 2years max. I dont want to rush it, but I dont want it to drag out either. Im hoping to have it in the shed by the weekend, then I can get to work on it. Going to pull the donk out to tidy it up, and tidy the engine bay. Also going to unwrap the harness and check it over and clean it up. Then the first thing to get finished will be the interior and get it to lock up stage.... Then the suspension will need to be taken care of.

I had been unable to start the car as the carb gaskets had gone hard and it was leaking fuel from either bowel. Running a 650 DP Spread Bore.

I just got it all sorted and kicked it over tonight. Took a few cranks to fill the bowls up but from cold it just idles away! Must have a bit of a cam in it???
