These things are pretty rare and whilst not worth a million bucks, they are appreciating in value.

Looks awesome mate and love those electric rear windows, that's frOcking mad I want them in my wags.
Looked very familiar from the start of the thread because I remember seeing a grey wagon just like this on Springvale Rd the other night, but I thought not the same coz the one I saw was dumped and had those JDM mirrors etc. but after looking through it was probably the same after all. I remember just rolling past, wondering what the frOck it was, then figuring it was just a cruiser and probably some obscure, beat up old Datto.
Bahah. Nice work with the wheels and the tyres : ) Stretch the frOck out of em! Then be careful of gutters for the rest of your life : P

Got some JDM Tail Lights which took at least two years to find!
The L26 was pretty flogged out so I started preparing some bits and pieces. Bought an L28E, was told it was a nice running motor. After storing it for a while in a mate's factory, I was pretty disappointed to look inside!
This transfer port is a bit of a weak spot in the construction of the head, so I made this up and got the dude reco'ing the head (Chris Collier @ M.R.C.) to weld it in before he decked it.
Did a few unique cooling system modifications, such as a set of brass outlets above every exhaust port:
Cast Iron TB42 Impeller machined down to fit a new replacement water pump (pressed tin piece of shit went in the bin), also ported the timing cover out to flow a bit better.
My mate made this brass coolant collector, and I got some stainless tube and cranked out the TIG for this little header tank to run on the bypass circuit:
Had some time to kill:
Had the machine work on the block done by Cave Hill engines, new set of slugs and rings, everything else in the bottom end was within spec, just replaced some bearings.
Took a bit of extra junk off the balancer:
Back on the road with a lot more grunt than before! Ported out the standard split headers and got a 2-1/4" exhaust made up too.
To be more suited to the larger motor, I dropped from a 4.11:1 to 3.9:1 diff, just put a standard one together with some new bearings and a crush tube I spun up.
