This is the same way I converted from single rail to T5.
I used a CRS bellhousing and had enough meat on my bellhousing for the lower bolt holes allready in the T5

Also if your are running a single rail your tailshaft and speedo cable will fit with the T5, crosmember will also work and may need a mod depending on the mount that comes with the T5

Thats a cool read mate. Do you know if you can adapt any other type of holden bellhousing to the Ford T5 in this way?
Cheers, Jase

No sorry I dont, My bellhousing is a CRS single rail/toploader to holden. Dellow bellhousing to suit the same boxes should also work.

The holden v8 4 speed bellhousing wouldnt work because the T5 input shaft would be to short

I not to long ago bought the dellow kit to mount the ford t5 to 308. Their kit was ok, needed abit of grinding here and there, but all in all mounted easily enough.

Hi guys, I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if someone could tell me what modifications are needed to the toploader bellhousing to suit a T5 as the link in the first post isn't there anymore. Is it just drilling and tapping the bottom two holes or is there more involved?

Thanks in advance

Dale
