Yes
Larger rear cylinders will give more braking effect
Smaller reduces... so if your having lock up issues you reduce... not enough you increase

the biger the bore dia the more fluid it takes to push them out and more peddle trave will be evedent.
you should have a better brakes with the correct size for which ever brakes you are running.

So was there a difference in bore size between the drum front and disc front models? If so, what size was what?

Not on LH (all 3/4)
Only on LC and LJ
And late UC ran Commodore cyls just to confuse things

Rear drums with disc fronts had 9/16 wheel cylinders and drums all round had 13/16 or 7/8s from memory
