Now the Front/Rear Windscreens have corner locking pieces that fit into the rubber, 2 on the rear 4 on the front?

I dont have these, are they available as a repro? If so, are they any good or am I better off trying to track down some 2nd ones?

Brad,

The repro ones dont fit as good as the original ones.

So I would suggest you try and track down a good second hand set.

They appear on EBAY quite frequently.

For me as I have just fitted new windscreen rubbers, chrome and corners none of them fit well to be honest and that includes the originals. It's one if them things u guess as quality control wasn't high on the list all those yrs ago..

Yep. I also fitted new rubbers and locking strips from rares. The corners is shite, the angle isn't even correct

I haven't used them myself, but have heard from a good mate that the angles are not quite right on the repro ones.

Maybe with repro stuff your stacking little miss match on little miss match which ends up with the corner pieces not sitting as well as they should. You know, with the rubber not quite the correct profile and locking strip incorrect profile even original corners may not fit 100%. Just a thought.

I am using my original corner pieces and they don't line up correctly, I figured that these cars were mass-produced made back in the day and the quality was pretty ordinary at the best, its just a matter of us trying to rebuild our cars better than they were made in the 70's, just my thoughts.

Cheers.
