Hello My Fellow Torana Guru's, Just wondering how to remove the glovebox lid lock from LJ, Have done the searches through forum & also parts manual But can't find didly squatt regarding lock removal. Any Help will be Gr8ly Appreci8d.

This is the slot where you press the end of the paper clip:

To undo this sucker, I ground the head of a 3/8 bolt to use as a tool because the inside of this is an octagon not a hex.

Many Thanks Kockum & Potta, Got it out as listed above & to "undo This Sucker" the 1st tool that I went 4 was a wide bladed Stanley Screwdriver which locked into opposite edge and with a slight twist released and unscrewed it no worries. Maybe I'll call it Escutcheon Wench no. E986 - 2.
