Several members have used it underneath their car for a great result.

that's spraying it on waaay to thick with a little reducer, mind you I had a whole heap of little air bubbles come thru about 5min after that pic was taken. I am putting it down to moisture as i wasn't running a moisture trap or sufficient air line.

this is KBS ,unfortunatly i left car uncovered and it got windy ,resulting in sand blowing over floor before it dried, takes a few hours to tack off but is rock hard by next morning and has a nice gloss,im wrapped in it and will be buying more

under my torana :) came out really nice, comes out better when you spray it on if you spend a bit more time on prep it comes out really good like the back near the fuel tank did

don't leave it in the sun it fades

I've just picked up a kit yesterday, will be doing the floor of the LC (inside and out). I paid $100 for a 1L starter kit in Gloss black.

Apparently KBS stands for Kleen, Blast & Seal.

Where can you buy KBS stuff from in Victoria? Eastern suburbs?

I'm keen to do my front K-Frame and suspension whilst the engine is still out.

Don't know if you are interested but the tiny bubbles are solvent boil/pop. Nothing to do with air water. Too heavy an application like u said. The top coat seals over the bottom is not dry so the solvent trys to get out causing the tiny bubbles. IMHO KBS is good but POR 15 POR 15 is a slightly better product.

Cheers Dave

I ended up buying the chassis pro kit. Contains all the stuff including the satin top coat. It was less than half the price of POR15so I thought I would give it a shot

I will pop some pics up when I have done it

cheers

Cheers 71xu1, very interested and that makes perfect seance, thanks x 10... I still have to do the rest of the arms.

Yes I am still deciding if I top coat with a saturn or a gloss. For the price I am happy enough with KSB. I have test rubbed a section back and it cleans the bubbles up.

When I called them a couple of years ago they were in Preston.

Brett, I got the KBS stuff from crash supplies on the Princess Hwy in Doveton.

Heritage Holden in Lilydale sell it in the spare parts area.

Great stuff, get on it. Gotta support aussie products, particularly shit-hot ones like this. I've used KBS stuff on both of my cars
