yes wot he saidGood starter project
Alittle bit of wierd placement of stuff in that engine bay though
I wouldn't mind an old wagon myself one day
my ultimate go away/ tow car would be a hz wagon or a jx made to look like one
308/t700/9inch limo,on lpg, twin light front, black hz kingy grill, big fat 14/15 x8's up front 14/15's x 10 with 265's on the arse, fluted guards ,gts dash and wheel and black interior,4 wheel discs,a/c p/s p/w p/tw and lowered all round with air shocks in the back.and as for a colour.i saw one in that lina mint or mint julep with blackouts it looked the goods.
good to see a young bloke interested they are awesome things.

BUT
The fuel/vac/return/cannister lines all were original with 60 gazillion cracks
Replaced them all Sunday, still have to do the little buggers on the fuel tank though.

40 thou on the plugs
12 thou on the points
12 degrees advance

You must be doing it wrong !
Fish oil from Supercheap, then Garden pump/sprayer with peanut oil, then Wattyls "Tectyl" in a .99c hand sprayer
Hard as hell to spray but gets the job done. What the hell are you doing to get so dirty ?

10 hours of spraying/sandblasting crappy 4wd's and you tend to get some overspray on yourself
and who told you my tricks of the trade?

Gave the Kinga an old skool tune:
40 thou on the plugs
12 thou on the points
12 degrees advance
and...
I'd say it now has 20% more giddyup n go !
What's the theory here?

With the points set @ 12 thou' the condensor & coil build a max charge
Ergo the wider 40 thou' gap on the plugs for a bigger spark
Timing is subjective between 10 - 14 degs advance - So 12's the go
Son is just about to "test" Das tune - Will report back shortly
Now 9:34pm in Brissy
