How to restore a craked steering wheel

Unfortunately we're 1/2 way through this one but another will be done soon.

Product to use : KBS NuMETAL Epoxy Putty (various colours available) $38 + post

Comes with SPECIAL gloves to knead the 2 part putty - MUST USE THEM !

Tools: Angle grinder + 1mm disc or (Fake Ozito) / Dremel tool + conical bit

V groove all the cracks/splits, apply putty (smooth out after 30 mins)

Allow to dry 24hrs

Sand, prime, sand, spray putty if you have to, sand, prime & finish with a Satin black Acrylic paint

Done !

Good stuff.

For those that don't want to tackle it themselves I just discovered this guy in NZ, he's had a lot of good feedback from the Mustang community and will deal with Aus. clients.
