Is it something to do with the cars not being used? Seems most the stories are from cars that have been sitting for years...

No issues so far.
Who knows, are they using different mixtures, processes now than they where?

Just a quick tip for anyone fitting poly bushes which are not attatched to metal , take the bush stick it in a vise and squeeze the hell out of it . If you have faulty bushes they will show signs of cracking or splitting and save you having to fit them and find out later.

as for that red crap, fitted top bushes to our group 3 commy ,within 6 months it looked like the shocker was pushing through and going to end up through bonnet.
the factory bushes are the best, when you carn,t buy them try super pro.

The company in question is happy to replace the failed items, but now i'm considering other alternatives.
It wouldn't be an issue if it was a 5min job to replace them.
The most annoying thing to me, is that i've had the suspension media blasted & 2K primed, then fitted the bushes, then had the components top coated. I've assembled it all very carefully to avoid paint chips. I just know it's going to end up chipped when i disassemble/reassemble it. :(

I have a complete 'Nolathane' boxed kit NEW for my LX , Bought it 3 -4 years ago , just part of my massive collection of parts , ready for when my time frees up and I can start the rebuild on my car . Now, I'm so sure whether to use the 'Nolathane' parts or not ???? I'm thinking not .So are these bushes you purchased recently, or have they been sitting in the shed for a few years?
