It's been over 5 years since Al deleted all his posts in this thread,

so here is the Wayback Machine Archive of this thread for you to read what was there beforehand:

https://web.archive....-lj-v8-toranas/

Also, the posted images do not show, because the WBM does not have that right.

But many people have already downloaded the images,

and can then just match the image name to your downloaded same name. :spoton:

BTW:

The WBM captures through the years, so 2015 capture would be missing from 2015 to 2018 say.

So I captured the 2017 version just before posts got deleted.

Now you know.  :deal:

Make sure you are in the Wayback Machine Website.

Edit:

Oh and don't click anything else, other than the page number at bottom of thread.

I see pics and all in that link?

How good!

Was this the same thread where Al was putting up his โ€œwreckerโ€ pen part numbers ? frOck that was comedy gold. Almost as funny as those filler necks. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

His logic was some of the best fun to read on the internet for a while.

I think that may have been the 'Interpreting Holden Documents' or something to that effect.

How come everyone is piling on Al? What did he do? Just seemed like a passionate guy in my experience, and I did meet him as well at Norm's book launch.

How come everyone is piling on Al? What did he do? Just seemed like a passionate guy in my experience, and I did meet him as well at Norm's book launch.

From memory, he started asking a few decent questions on getting some idea of the origins of the car.

Then, it seemed he found a source of information that wasnt particularly good. Then even when given correct information from members here, he said they were wrong and then convinced himself he had something that really couldnt be proven.

He was given some really good advice, but ignored it, and went to the point of being insulting towards those who were genuinely trying to help him out.

Some of the proof he was using to identify the vehicle just didnt add up.

Cheers

Rob
