Does anyone know where to get new Hatch gas struts or do you need to get someone to recondition them?
Mine have lost their lift and it will look a little ugly with a broom handle holding the hatch up!

Those interchange to a number you can find here...can get them at rock auto for under $15 each in other brands. I might order a couple and see how they go..mine are a little weak actually as well. (not too bad, just when it's real cold out)

How much were the new ones there? (just curious to compare against the ones here...assuming they work properly)

Well, the first ones I got were not the go....too weak to hold the hatch up. I found some other ones though with a higher weight rating and were the perfect length, and work perfectly.
