Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me out, my rear wheels are ROH 14x10 With 265x50x14's on them at the moment. I have a 9' Diff and they look to me to be sticking out around an inch or inch and a half.
I understand my options probably are
1.Have diff shortened but apparently there is some drama with the shocky mounts if you take to much off, as i said id reckon 1.5 inches either side.
2. Dont reckon smaller tyres are an option
3. Wider flares?
Just putting it out there as if anyone has had the same drama before and what they did. Dont want the boys in blue harassing me.
Thanks in advance :)

I'd say looking at it the diff has been narrowed but is still too wide?

Another thing is to check the offset of the rims as they do look like they may have a bit of a dish on them??

Options to fix then would be a new or re narrowing of this diff or new wheels with different offset?? Neither of which will be a real cheap option.

Not sure if bigger flares would fix it or even if they're available??

use search function on here for suppliers

2.go smaller rims 14x8
3. smaller tyres 245/50/14

A9X flares will fix it, but the mount holes are in different locations

You may have another option if your rims still have the big boss on the back, machine off the amount that will bring your wheels in. Standard they have approx 40mm to play with. Cost me $50 per rim to have this done at a machine shop. Keep your tyres, flares and diff as they are....................

I dont think they sit out to far m8. Personally i wouldnt worry to much unless they are scraping on your car somewhere.

I vote for A9X Flares as the only way to fix it for the win too.

i am no expert! but i know wot worked 4 me. machining some off the inside of the wheel boss, it did the job nicely. a little easier than changing 2 the slightly wider flares with different bolt positions.u just need to check 4 clearance between wheel/tyre and your shockies before doing anything.you need a bit of clearance to allow for tyre distortion when cornering. that is the prob BROCK had in the 77A9X until they fitted smaller tyres. my sedan runs 15x10 hotwires on the rear with 265s and the wider a9x flares, but could prob fit 295s without a prob but am happy as it is. hope this helps? it works 4 me

Jason could you post a pick from the rear of your car, i am looking at getting some 15X10 Challengers and fitting 265/50 tyres for the back of Tracies car but i only have the L34 flares, don't want to order them if they aren't going to fit or scrub when i hit a bump or corner.
