I'm in the process of getting these locally from " turner driveshafts" in west street brookvale. They are similar to other ones found on volvos etc and will get the exact model part and details and post here. Also will put the price up as well.

rares wanted $20 per boot.

stay tuned.

The ones my company list are $10 each
But I'd have to check the sizes as I don't have that info at home

They should be the same as the Rare's item. Resto Country stock Rare Spares parts. They just don't list the with the part numbers.

Agree with James ^^.

They fit OK but you will need to rework the groove in the small end of both where the clamp/cable tie goes as it is nowhere near big enough - even for the supplied cable ties DER :wtf: ... typical Rare Spares quality- near enough is good enough!

Resto county confirmed having stock of boots, but they are not supplied by Rare Spares.

Well here's hoping whoever made them has worked out how wide cable ties and original claps are, 'cause it was too hard for RSP!

Hi All,
so the Resto Country steering rack boots arrived.

The rod end of the Pinion side boot looks good.

The rod end of the Support side boot could do with some improvement, that i am going to offer some feedback to Resto Country.
**To Extend the rod end clamping surface and taper the boot body as the Pinion boot is.

I removed my old rack boots to also compare the sizing of the larger diameter housing ends, they look ok.
Just included a couple pics of my old boots before removing.
