^ 1UZ Toyota V8. Belongs to Craig (TorYoda) a real nice bloke who is only too happy to have a chat about his car. The LJ had a people gawking under the bonnet all day. When I first glanced at Craigs profile here I thought I read 1JZ so I was expecting to see a 6cyl between the chassis rails. Needles to say I was confused until I asked :D

I had a pretty good time myself and it was great to meet and chat with a few people from here also. A friendly bunch of blokes the lot of you! :clappin: The road home towards Woodford was closed due to an accident and I was redirected by the cops which sent me down about 3km's of dirt road.... :banghead: One thing I did notice is how respectful both the exhibitors and the general public were of the cars. A big thumbs up for the event in general. Thanks for posting the pictures T!

Were you there Jim / Nev / Barry & if so, which one was yours?
I must apologise for not catching up with forum members but I walked down into the main street of Maleny with my wife for some retail therapy and a nice lunch.
I didn't get to see everything on display at the show but I managed to keep "THE BOSS" happy

Bruce, Barry's beast is the one we were yapping about at the meeting last night. The Orange LX SLR5000. Same one that was in my wedding convoy :spoton:

Thanks for the compliments on the photos fellas. I have some video I will post up when time permits as well.

The same event is scheduled for July 7 next year. No doubt it will be bigger and better :)

It's just a shame you weren't visiting your olds last weekend Mort - it would be good to put a face to the name.
It must be tough for you seeing all these great events & being too far away to be able to atttend.

Any plans to move down this way at all?

I was going too but unfortunately all the holidays were booked by others, we are only allowed 5 away in non prime-time holidays, might make a trip in the Sept school hols, will have to see if the Torana is back by then, if not it will be another good excuse to head down that way.
Yes it is, i seem to miss out on all of them even the ones up here, going to have to make a bigger effort to get to some next year.

Nah, no plans to move anywhere just yet, was tempted a few months ago when houses around here where selling anywhere from $450 000 to $1.2mil, could have got at least $650 000 for my house but i couldn't handle the travel and being away from the family for the length of the roster.
