Just purchased a sedan rear spoiler and have a question regarding fitting.
It comes with 4 studs along the back edge of the spoiler which have round washers about 40 mil diameter as supplied. Are these washers supposed to go between the spoiler and bootlid as they are too big to fit between the bootlid and nut as they are too large a diameter.
Can anyone help

Washers always go under the nut to isolate movement, and the nut working its way free.
The original spoilers don't have washers, but are fitted through holes about 15-20mm in the outer boot skin, and have 3 studs, not 4. I do put small 10mm dia washers on under the nuts for the studs when I fit them.
Hope that helps.
Throw up some pics and let us know how it all goes.
