To follow on from the L31 register thread, my tuxedo SS with 2214-18X trim has a chamois headlining and sunvisors this is listed in the parts book as an option for 18X or 18V only. anybody else have an 18X with a non black headlining? It doesn't seem to be shown in the trim code as 2214-18X says black interior with cloth. There seems to be an option code listed as XY9 for it but how do you know if you have this apart from the colour of the headlining of course.
Also I'm told the 2214 means black, is there a list of these interior codes, plenty of info on the 18X part but I didn't see any on the 4 digits in front of it.?

the 4 digits in front are nothing to do with trim, it's Holdens paint code. 2214 is tuxedo black. I haven't got my book with me at the moment to tell you more on trim

The plate has 2214-18X next to trim so I assume that's all trim codes then next to paint is 568-15991, now I know the 15991 is the exterior color tuxedo. How is the 2214 tuxedo also, this is where I'm now confused.

The tables in the trim codes show the neutral option for 18X, this is dove grey for LH and chamois for LX.

the top paint code is the Dulux paint code, the 2214 is Holdens cross reference code to tuxedo black

So the 2214 is nothing to do with trim and is Holden code for the exterior color, is that correct. Is there a list of these codes as I don't remember seeing one.

From what I gather Red is saying the 568-15991 is the Dulux color where the 2214 is the Holden code for the same color. Now the fact the 2214 is a part of the trim code I thought this would mean its a trim color but I don't know.

Interesting list, Aug 77, note says SLR, however some of those colours were actually introduced with the A9X.

ok found out what the first three numbers are, though hmmm 568 isn't there. The first three numbers however is the type or line of paint
