It on again!

Its the most fun you can have with your pants on.

Unfortunately,it clashes with Toranafest.

Does anyone know If there will be a display area for cars that are not competing, thought I might bring mine down for a good run to make sure everything is OK before going to Bathurst.

Cheers, John.

There is not usually a dedicated display area, but there is plenty of space to park and pose.

About 2hrs/160kms sw from bristown, i'm pretty sure you could get a greyhound bus from bris airport or transit station, givem a ring to check.

Got our cars started/washed and loaded ready to go.

Kev, car was running well on both days, It was picking the front wheels up too much on Saturday, which is good for photographers but not good for good et's. So after taming it down a little, the car was running 7.99-8.1 @ 84-87 mph pretty consistently.
Sunday was a little slower as the weather was at 2500+ feet, so the mph was down but the car was still 60'ing well. Then into racing which was round robin, a win in the 1st round, win in the 2nd, then had to re-run the 3rd as they put the wrong dial in for the other car. For some reason the car run an 8.2 & was a little loose. When I got home I found this.

very lucky. i just found one of mine with same sort of thing but got it before it broke off. Only 3/4 torn apart on mine. found that when the diff arms where made by who ever made them that the bolts where not square to each other. Just made some new ones out of 65mm x 3mm shs.

The ratio's in the box are much the same as the Saginaw, so I don't think it's the box. I'll have to adjust the rear end to tame down the wheels up & get it to drive forward.
