ok well i sat a 26x8.5 15 M&H slick under the rear guards, and they fit with about 6mm clearance each side of the guard. So yep i need to extend the guard, just in case of tyre expansion during burnout. Here are a few pics at different heights and a pic of a 205/65 15 aswell.

shan620 this is how ya do it,without cutting the guards,at the guards widest width horizontally is 27",the lower you go frees up space ,thats for a 26".im getting my tubs made for 28s later,when the 26s wont get traction i will extend the rear guard
